Summary

25-year-old Katarina "Kati" Huss joins the police force in Gothenburg despite the fierce opposition of her mother, the notorious investigator Irene Huss. As a recent graduate of the police academy, the self-confident, ambitious aspirant must now find her way in the tough everyday life of the police and repeatedly comes up against invisible social boundaries. However, she has learned to assert herself, but she also keeps getting in trouble with her colleagues and superiors. Her everyday life as a police officer is characterized by team spirit, but also by difficult situations in which there is not always black and white or good and evil. As she gets to know her colleagues better, she realizes that her police unit is hiding a secret. What really happened during the riots a year ago? And what role does her mother play in it? Kati gets caught in a tangled web of corruption and betrayal. And in the end, she must decide where her loyalty lies: with the truth or with the police.
