Giving Directions (Wegbeschreibungen geben)
Lesson Objective:
By the end of this lesson, learners will be able to ask for and give basic directions in Russian using common expressions and vocabulary.

Grammar Point:
When giving directions in Russian, the imperative form is commonly used to tell someone what to do. For example:
- Идите прямо – Go straight
- Поверните направо – Turn right
- Поверните налево – Turn left
Note that Russian uses the prepositional and accusative cases after many of the prepositions involved in directions. For example:
- Идите к остановке – Go to the bus stop (dative case)
- Идите через площадь – Go across the square (accusative case)
