The Polish Language School, named after Saint Wojciecha, has been a cornerstone of the Port Richmond district in Philadelphia for nearly 65 years. Operating as a non-profit institution in collaboration with the parish of St. Wojciech and affiliated with the Headquarters of Polish Supplementary Education Schools in New York, the school is located near the Church of St. Wojciech. Its primary goal is to impart the Polish language to children, teenagers, and adults, along with fostering an understanding of Polish culture, history, and traditions. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum, including subjects such as folk dances, vocal classes, and language courses in English and Polish for adults. In addition to academics, the school actively engages in various competitions, events, and performances, contributing significantly to the local Polish community's cultural richness and participating in celebrations of Polish national holidays. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact the school's director, Danuta Eichler, for further information or support.
